چکیده
The aim of this study was to optimize the preparation method polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) denture base loaded with nano silver (NAg), more effectively and safely impart sustainable antibacterial functions. NAg solution synthetized mixed acrylic acid methyl methyacrylate (MMA) monomer in order prepare a new type (NS)/polymer specimens (NS/PMMA). surface morphology, mechanical strength, antimicrobial activity, anti-aging performance, cytotoxicity biocompatibility NS/PMMA were evaluated comparison fabricated using traditional adding methods NAg-free base. aesthetic characteristics strength met clinical application requirements. Meanwhile, showed better properties, no displayed exceptional biocompatibility. thus has great potential for application.

wuthering heights and the concept of marality/a sociological study of the novel
to discuss my point, i have collected quite a number of articles, anthologies, and books about "wuthering heights" applying various ideas and theories to this fantastic story. hence, i have come to believe that gadamer and jauss are rightful when they claim that "the individaul human mind is the center and origin of all meaning," 3 that reading literature is a reader-oriented activity, that it ...
15 صفحه اولCharacterization of multiwalled carbon nanotube-polymethyl methacrylate composite resins as denture base materials.
STATEMENT OF PROBLEM Most fractures of dentures occur during function, primarily because of the flexural fatigue of denture resins. PURPOSE The purpose of this study was to evaluate a polymethyl methacrylate denture base material modified with multiwalled carbon nanotubes in terms of fatigue resistance, flexural strength, and resilience. MATERIAL AND METHODS Denture resin specimens were fab...
متن کاملEffect of zirconium oxide nanoparticles addition on the optical and tensile properties of polymethyl methacrylate denture base material
Background Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) is widely used for the fabrication of removable prostheses. Recently, zirconium oxide nanoparticles (nano-ZrO2) have been added to improve some properties of PMMA, but their effect on the optical properties and tensile strength are neglected. Objective The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of nano-ZrO2 addition on the translucency and te...
متن کاملSynthesis and thermal characterization of polymethyl methacrylate
PMMA with molecular mass (PMMA Mw: 1.2×105) was synthesized through AIBN initiated free radical polymerization methyl methacrylate at 100 ± 1°C.The synthesized polymer was characterized through GPC coupled with RI detector in presence of THF as mobile phase at 1.0 mL/ min and simultaneous TG-DTA-DTG in nitrogen. TG data were used to investigate the non-isothermal kinetics of solid-state decompo...
متن کاملInfluence of incorporation of ZrO2 nanoparticles on the repair strength of polymethyl methacrylate denture bases
BACKGROUND Repeated fracture of the denture base is a common problem in prosthodontics, and it represents a nuisance and a time sink for the clinician. Therefore, the possibility of increasing repair strength using new reinforcement materials is of great interest to prosthodontists. AIM OF THE STUDY This study aimed to evaluate the effects of incorporation of zirconia nanoparticles (nano-ZrO2...
